David Hornsby is a co-creator and executive producer of Unsupervised. Hornsby also voices the role of the character "Joel" as well as draws the characters. He's a writer and actor on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" where he serves as an executive producer and plays the recurring character, "Rickety Cricket."

He most recently created, executive-produced and starred in the beloved CBS comedy series, How To Be a Gentleman. He uses the word 'beloved' sarcastically, of course. Hornsby also voices one of the title characters on the Nickelodeon animated series, Fanboy and Chum Chum, which is in its second season.

He's appeared on numerous television shows including Six Feet Under, ER, The Unit, and The Joe Schmo Show. He starred in the 2008 Sundance Festival film, Pretty Bird, opposite Paul Giamatti, Billy Crudup and Kristen Wiig. Other feature credits include Flags of Our Fathers, Minority Report, Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, and Pearl Harbor.

Hornsby was born in Virginia, grew up in Houston and currently resides in Los Angeles.
